Starting June 2nd, 2011, civil union marriages will officially be recognized in the state of Illinois.
I am excited to be a part of an extraordinary event that will be taking place at that time. Dream Gay Weddings is hosting an event to perform and celebrate civil union marriages from June 2nd to June 5th, 2011!
For 4 days, six officiants (including a few celebrities) will perform ceremonies through out the day! At the end of each day there will be a big reception to celebrate all of the new marriages!

In addition to all of this love and celebration, I have the honor of photographing these weddings along side a few of my fellow local photographers: Shutter Sam Photography and Jennifer Mayo Studios.

As a side note, I would like to point out that June 1st is officially the start of Gay Pride Month.
