I started JK Photography about 7 years ago when I had finished college. I had no idea I would be where I am today in this business. I am so grateful to have a job that I truly love! There are several reason why I have decided to make this huge change, one being that I want to connect more with you, my clients. Some of you may or may not know this, but the “K” from “JK” was actually from my maiden name “Kidd”.
So you are all probably wondering where this began? You may remember back in October I flew out to Italy to attend a workshop with Jose Villa and Gene Higa…while I was there I met some amazing friends that changed my life! After many loooong talks I came to the discovery that I may have just out grown JK Photography and that it was time to move forward. My dear friend Yazy Jo suggested that maybe changing my name was just what I needed..so I took her advice and went with it! I am so glad I did and I am so excited to grow with this industry and give you the best wedding pictures I can 
You will notice while browsing around my blog that I have a few new features! The first being the workshops section. I am now offering “Anytime Sessions”. These sessions are one hour mini-workshops where you can chat with me over the phone/Skype or meet with me in person and ask me anything you want to know about! You will also notice that I now have a “Subscribe” option..I will be sending out occasional newsletters with announcements on upcoming workshops, specials and changes! In addition to these new features I would also like to announce that I am now offering film photography packages. These packages are customized quotes, so if you are interested in a film package please contact me to get more information!
I want thank all of my family, my friends and my wonderful clients for being so amazingly supportive during this process. I honestly could not have done any of this with out you In addition I want to thank all the vendors I have worked with to make this possible! You are all amazing people and have touched my life in a way that I will never forget!
To all my Italy peeps (Jose, Joel, Jen, Ann, Gene, Yazy, Bob, Melissa, Lara, Laura, Stacy, Lelia, Diana, Alicia, Kristen, Kurstin, Mireen, Molly, Sara, Troy, Jeff, Corina, Mar, Matthew, Cathy, Arkadi, Katie and Jyllian) I will always treasure our time together, thank you all for being so inspiring and encouraging!
I hope you enjoy my site and the images below, they are from the shoots we did in Italy, where I was inspired to bring this dream to life.
